cell phones
Ahh the world of cell phones. I'm getting a cell next year and there's just such a selection! Things that I "need" or want I guess, is camera and texting. I know that I will get a cheesy phone. Parents
. I love Sidekicks and the phones with keypads and a screen. Like a mini computer! However, $300-500. Come on! Well, you get what you pay for. What kind of phones to you guys have? Features? How it holds up?

Re: cell phones
I don't know exactly what model I have, but it's an LG. I use Verizon. I think it was $150, but I got it for free because my father paid for a new phone for himself (one that was like $300). Mine has TXT messaging, PIX messaging, it's a camera, it has AIM on the phone, Get It Now, and I think you can get online on it, but I haven't ever done it. It works great, and works everywhere everyone elses phones never seem to work. The only thing I'm sad about is that it doesn't have a spot for a phone charm. Ah well. For my purposes, it works great!

Re: cell phones
I got my mum's old phone, but I never use it, mainly because I'm out of credit.
Normally I just borrow her currrent, which is an LG and has a camera in it. It's a nice phone, but neither of us use it much. Maybe once a week.

I have a Samsung a-950. It's ok, not the best, but it has camera, camcorder, MP3 player, PIX and text messaging.

Re: cell phones
I have a Nokia, and it has all the regular features...text, camera, etc. Of course, I don't use any of that, but it's there if I wanted to. Before that, I had a Motorola flip phone. It had similar features, and I liked that phone, but the battery life was horrible. I changed it a few times, but none of them held a charge for very long. If I charged it overnight, it was always dead by the next evening, even if I only used the phone once for a short call. I don't know if it was just a problem with the series of batteries or the phone itself, but I was glad to get a new phone that didn't die 12 times a day.

I have a Sagem something or other, it is the 3rd new phone since having my son - who enjoys sucking on the battery part! I do try to put the phone high so he can't reash it, but I am a bit of an airhead so regularly forget!

Re: cell phones
I have the razor by Motorola, I bought it when it first came out like two years ago. I paid $600. Never again will I pay that much for a phone. They're practically giving them away now. There was no insurance for it at the time of my purchase, Cingular didn't cover it. I've had to have it serviced twice because I dropped it. Service charge of $75 to get it fixed. I am not going to get a new phone until this one dies or breaks again. Live and learn I guess.

Re: cell phones
All of my friends that have Razr phones say they are terrible. I have been told they are really slow with the applications on there and they have compared it to me as being like dial up vs. cable internet.

Re: cell phones
Yeah the applications are like dial up, I basically only use it if I have to wait somewhere. I'm due for an upgrade and I keep smelling like burnt circuits when I go to use it, so I don't think it should be too much longer til it's dead. I will have only one thing to say...good riddance.
