You know those songs that make you feel like crap? When you say something like "WOW... That's depressing. Where's a hole I can crawl into?" For Crying Out Loud is a good funeral song. So is that Robbie Williams song (is it I'm Loving Angels?) and Yesterday. That can be the song you play when you shoot yourself after your girlfriend left you. Name some for me, I find these kind of threads really interesting. (I'm a sick, twisted freak, I know) |

Nah, my hubby always laughs at me because when I hear a really good depressing song, I say, "Oh, they're playing THAT at my funeral!" He says I'm a sucker for a gut-wrenching, tear-jerking song. Example: "For Whom the Bell Tolls" from the Donnie Darko soundtrack (the song that plays while they're in the theater). THAT is going to be played at my funeral. Can't forget the two wonderful Nightwish ballads, "Two for Tragedy" and "Dead Boy's Poem"... Opeth's "Death Whispered a Lullaby" (okay, maybe any of their songs will work)... "Shrink" by The Gathering... "Deadlocked" by Tristania always seems to tear at me... and of course if you just want some music in the background that keeps the depressed mood going, Arcana will always do the trick. I suppose I'm more into darker stuff than "feel-like-crap" stuff |

"Who Wants to Live Forever?" by Queen. It was on the Highlander Soundtrack, and I have it on their Classic Queen CD. I told my mom that that is the song I want played at my funeral. |

The Show must go on - Queen Always makes me sniffle, as well as "Candle in the Wind" 1997 version, I need a whole box of tissues whenever I hear that version |

Here Comes the Sun isn't really depressing, but sort of so happy it makes you want to cry. I want that played at my funeral. Or would that be making light of the situation? (Pun intended) Bangla Desh is a really good dancing song, except for the fact that it is actually a really sad song. |

I love Here Comes the Sun. I don't think it's depressing at all! I actually want it played at my wedding. |

Yeah, I want it either played at my wedding or funeral. I love it, but it's so moving (better word... almost) |

Definately moving. I turn it up real loud every time it cycles onto my CD player or computer. |

My niece died suddenly in her sleep. Her husband played Knights in White Satin. |
