Support hose and CVS gel shoe inserts. My legs and feet have been killing me since I started working again. I pretty much am standing and walking around for about 7 hours of my shift. Today was so nice and pain free. I may never wear regular socks again.

Baby girl, I hate hose so I wear support knee socks. Absolutely no pain shooting up my legs at night. As for shoes. I worked TRU for a year and ended up with plantar fasciitis (sp). For 5 years now the only shoes I wear are New Balance 925. They have a graphite roll bar so you can't walk on the sides of your feet. I also have orthotics in my shoes with a pair of Sof-Sole inserts. Sof Sole are 100 times better than gel. The blue ones for athletes. Locally they are found at The Finish Line. The New Balance 925 come from Holabird Sports on the INTERNET. www.holabirdsports.com I used to get my socks at a local scrub store but now I get them from Footsmart on the INTERNET. I get the men's Coolmax support socks. They are fantastic. More cotton than the socks from the scrub store so I am not dealing with a tad of athletes foot under my toes.

Thanks Judy. I said support hose but I just have the knee high socks. I am definitly going to buy some since the ones I have are just from the hospital and have an open toe. I will have to check out those online stores so thanks for the info.
