Well I wish I could have done more with Charlie but not being able to drive sucks! I so wanted to take him out and about and buy a little something to send with him but I just couldn't. Here are some more pics of his time with us though.

Well, after the long trip in the mailing pouch with no refreshments...Charlie decided to do the Dew as soon as he arrived at my place.

When I let Charlie know that we would be going to see my grandmother after I got out of work, a little problem developed. Charlie had decided that he wanted to drive.


My grandmother also has her own little stuffed guinea pig friend that we tend to call "Fake PeeWhee." Upon meeting, Charlie and "Fake PeeWhee" spent a few minutes sizing each other up. I half wondered if rumblestrutting would break out.

So....the two of them appealed to a higher authority as to who was the cutest, fuzziest, best, etc....guinea pig in the room. Thus, power of a grandmother was needed to decide such questions.

Nana is really, really partial to "Fake PeeWhee." However, she did not say that in front of Charlie pig.

That is a truly adorable pigture! And I like that Charlie is watching his waistline by drinking the Diet Mt. Dew.

Charlie decided he wanted something to eat and drink before he took a nap. That was a long trip from Maine.

Then he laid down a took a little nap in a cuddle cup I had prepared for him.

Afterwards, Charlie got to know some of the girls. Boy, he liked that! He wanted to stay in longer and get comfy in the hammock, but I told him later after I got my chores done so I can keep an eye on him.

We had a busy weekend. We were going to go to the drive-in, but the movies were too scary for the kids and Charlie to see. I didn't want anyone having nightmares. We opted to go visit the Wise potato chip factory, the park, the power plant and the Riverlands across the street from the power plant and other places. He almost got to go to the ER when I took my daughter, but I left him in the car. Oops, sorry Charlie.

The Riverlands across the street from the powerplant. It has a lake and you can also get to the river this way. People can have picnics here, fish, etc.

A car I found along side the highway, next to a car sales lot. The guy came out and asked me if he could help me. LOL. Then he tried to give me this car. I only wanted a picture.

Then we went to the park to play for a while.
