I would say a maximum of a week... so that if he gets there on a Monday for someone they have him the next weekend too.

Anything is fine Laura, I just happen to have a river next to my house so took pics there!

I'm just tryin to decide where to take him... I live right in the middle go between of Philly, Baltimore, and then just past Baltimore is Washington, Dc, and none of those destinations is a no no for me, . We also have The beach pretty close by... the possibilities are ENDless, I'm telling you!

Re: Idea - the international guinea pig adventure?

Well since he is coming to me soon I better donate. Can he go to piglet before me please then he can be my lucky guinea pig for my exams. Abit off topic but last year I had a lucky t-shirt, rock Pen and Pencil and a 7 magnet because 7 is my lucky number. Imagine all that plus Charlie I will be rolling in luck.

Re: Idea - the international guinea pig adventure?

I have my exams too! But after yours, so I don't mind having him before hand. How do you donate to T?

Let me add, G.C.S.E's have nothing to do with luck! Revise well and that is all you need. Don't stress too much either because once you get into year 12, they don't count on single bit. I swear, they just never get mentioned. Good luck though

With the Donation, where does that have to go?

And what currency does it have to be in?

Re: Idea - the international guinea pig adventure?

If you use paypal, you can send it to Teresa@cavyspirit.com. I'm pretty sure T can convert it to US$. If you want to use a check or money order, PM her first to get the address she needs it sent to.

Re: Idea - the international guinea pig adventure?

I'll have to use money order, my mum is paranoid about giving out her bankcard number online.

Re: Idea - the international guinea pig adventure?

I'm sure that would be fine. When you send it, make sure you include a note stating that the donation is for the International Guinea Pig Adventure.

Re: Idea - the international guinea pig adventure?

I'm going to have a go at convincing her to let me use paypal this once, then we can cancel her account. We also want to donate to another site, and it takes about 3 weeks to get to Canada my money order. I'll ask later, as mum justs got up and is a bit cranky.

Re: Idea - the international guinea pig adventure?

Okay, so convincing her to use paypal was futile. It's going to cost me about $25 AUS to get $10 to T, not including the postage of Charlie, I don't have a job, and it looks like I will not be getting one for awhile. Unfotunately, I will not be able to participate, I will at some stage donate to the site, but for now, I'm broke, and it looks like I'll be broke for some time yet. I would have loved to have shown Charlie around Shepp, not that there is anywhere really to take him.

You have the $10 for the donation, which is around $14 Australian, $8 for the International money order, and $6 for the International Envelope. After it got to that amount, I didn't even want to ask how much it would cost to post an internation package.

What's involved when using PayPal? I mean, do you need to give out your bank account number?

Re: Idea - the international guinea pig adventure?

It is exactly like using your credit or credit/debit/bank card online when you shop. When I donate to T I use my debit card number. It is the same when I shop at Amazon.com. I have bought so many school books and videos and sometimes I use my debit card and if I don't have the cash in my account, I use my credit card. The system doesn't distinguish between them as they both have the same amount of numbers and an expiration date. Ebay users have been using Paypal for years.

Oh I haven't looked in a couple of weeks but she may not have everyone's currency available.
