These spring birds are already driving me nuts. I really don't mind the birds chirping waking me up in the morning. Especially since it means it is getting nice out again. What I do mind is the constant tap-tap-tap of the woodpecker that decided to make my backyard it's home. And the two tiny little birds that decided to build their nest on the two inch ledge above my front door that fell on my head when I opened the door. Not once, not twice, but 3 times now. You would think they would get a clue that my front door is not a good place for a nest. I am just worried for the time it happens with eggs in the nest. I guess I am going to have to start using the back door. At least it is going to be 65 today. I am so sick of winter.

Re: These spring birds are already driving me nuts. Maybe if you put out one of those inflatible owls the birds will be scared away? I used to live in a trailer that had a metal roof. There was a woodpecker that liked to give a us a "hello" by pecking on the roof. Talk about annoying!

Re: These spring birds are already driving me nuts. I have a brids nest outside my bedroom window and the bird mimics the guinea pigs. EVERY MORNING I wake up to "squeak squeak" from the birds and when I go downs stairs it's "squeak squeak" from the pigs. I don't mind the pigs, it's cute, but the bird.... And once the eggs hatch. They better pick up a new chirp ![]()
