I am so sorry. I lost a dog at 20, and it was really hard. We waited three years before getting another one, and that sort of happened by accident. Work through your grief, don't burry it. |

I feel your pain. It is hard but it does get better with time. I still miss all my animals who died in their teens but the sorrow has lessoned. Just remember your dog had a good life with you and was loved. You may want to go to Petloss.com, they are very helpful. They have a candle ceremony every Monday. Beautiful ceremony. |

I'm so sorry for your loss too. Time will heal all wounds but he'll always be in your heart. My doberman had to be put to sleep in 1991 and I still miss her very much but it is easier to talk about her. We had her for 11yrs. Just know that you have friends you can turn to. |
