hiya im new

hi i am new to this forum and i am thinking of breeding piggies i am not new to guinea pigs but since i have just had the internet installed i have heard about the good help from this site .
so i have been thinking of breeding my guinea pigs that i have i am wondering if this is such a good idea as i have never done this before and i am wondering if it is the right thing to do

It is absolutely not a good idea to breed your piggies. If you haven't already, please seperate your male and female and read the link babygrl provided. I also recommend scimming through a lot of the posts on here for breeding horror stories such as this one: http://cavycages.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5965.

my boar and sow are not together at the minute as i keep 2 sows together they are happy together and get along fine ... thank god
my other boars are seprate as they do not get along as well but thank you for warning me off breeding i would hate for anything to happen to my favorite things in the world

Heya and welcome to the forum. Breeding is not a good thing for a sow at all! If you want more piggies please think about adopting from a rescue. Since you didn't seem to know the dangers though it's alright and it seems like that thread has changed your mind! I think we would all love to see pigture of your cavies since that is pretty mandatory on this forum!

No i am not here to cause trouble at all, even though i have just got a warning for not punctuating properly
i didnt relise you people were as harsh as that as i semi Dyslexic and struggle with spelling i have to type it in microsoft word and then paste it in after spell checking & with punctuation any way so i am sorry if i have offended any one by not punctuating.

For someone who is semi dyslexic and being on the computer .... you are doing quite well.

Tell us all about your piggies. How old are they, and what they look like, etc..
