Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween to all of you! Everyone that's going trick-or-treating: I hope you have a good time! ^^

I dressed up my guinea pigs for a couple minutes and took pigtures, but I can't post them yet.

Can guinea pigs eat pumpkins? Or the pumpkin seeds?

What about trick-or-treaters: Will the constant ringing of the doorbell scare them? And my mom usually has all the lights off in the house; she only has candles lit. Should I close my door and turn on a light for my pigs? I don't want them to be scared

Now I got to go. PUMPAKIN CARVING TIME! (Pumpakin is not a typo ^^)

Re: Happy Halloween!

I don't think it will bother your piggies. I wish we did more for halloween. I mean, I'm 18 so I can't exactly go "trick or treating", and there are no parties that I know of. I might dress up but I doubt it. We hand out candy but we don't get very many kids. Anyway, have fun!

Re: Happy Halloween!

My mom decorates our porch and it looks really cool. We have a black light and a fog machine, and lots of stuff that glows in the dark. HOPEFULLY I'll get a picture of that, too.

Oh sorry now I really have to go carve my pumpakin!

Re: Happy Halloween!

Pumplin was a HUGE hit wiht my pigs. We just carved our pumpkins and gave them part of the white flesh. They completely devoured (sp) it.

Re: Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!!!!

Halloween isn't really celebrated over here. It's my favourite day though, so every year I like to throw a horror movie night with friends.

My pigs like to eat small bits of pumpkin, but they're not major fans of the stuff. Nothing can compare to romaine lettuce, apparently.

Re: Happy Halloween!

The memories *shudder* Me and zoe went trick or treating last year (don't say we are too old!) and got chased and attacked by a group of little kids.

Re: Happy Halloween!

I didn't buy any candy this year because not one person showed up last year. (This is only my second year living here.) I don't know why no one trick-or-treats here. There are kids in the neighborhood, but they must go somewhere that's more candy-profitable. So I'm hoping no one shows up for the sheer reason that I didn't buy any candy.

Re: Happy Halloween!

Same here - we havn't got anything in the house. Mum said no one came round last year, so if someone does...I'll give them some kale! We've got loads of that for the pigs

Re: Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween every one!

I am taking my daughter out for trick-or-treats. She is not too old by a long shot! Yeah, that means I get candy to!-hehe

I am not handing any candy out this year. I only got one person at my door last year. I may keep a handful on hand just in case. Have fun every one! :0)

Re: Happy Halloween!

You print off your design, stick the design onto the pumpkin as best you can, prick the edges out on the pumpkin and carve away! The Spiders Lair and Ghostly Mansion ones were very awkward to do but they turned out so well!
