Re: Whats cheaper?

I guess that would depend on where you live. I am in the usa, on the east coast. I paid 25 dollars for my coro and could of got a piece of linoleum for 15-20.

Re: Whats cheaper?

You might be able to find a sign shop willing to give you a full sheet. The choloroplast on my girls' cage was free because there was a misprint on a sign. The owner couldn't use it for anything, so he gave it to me. I hoped the same would happen when I made the boys' cage, but I'm not lucky enough to have that happen twice.

Re: Whats cheaper?

In the UK, CavyCrew, correx is usually cheaper and is better than linoleum, even though lino does make a good substitute.

You'll need at least an 8ft by 4ft sheet of correx to make a 2x4 with loft, but that size of cage isn't big enough for 5 pigs. Two sheets of correx would be better for a bigger cage, and you can cut the correx if you need to and tape the pieces together.

CavyCrew is not alfieiheartu.

CavyCrew, please read this link and post appropriately using proper capitalization. It's a forum rule here. Thanks. http://cavycages.com/forum/announcem...nouncementid=7

Re: Whats cheaper?

Yes I think my CC was about $25 but that was because I had them cut it for me. I still had to get my girlfriend to pick up the larger piece in her station wagon.

Re: Whats cheaper?

I recently got my Coroplast, 2 pretty large pieces, cut and all for $10. I didn't even bother to price Linoleum, though, so I'm not sure if that was cheaper for me or not. I think Linoleum would have been easier to work with, but the Coroplast looks really nice.

Re: Whats cheaper?

I live in Texas and my Coroplast was 13 for a 4X8 sheet. I believe that was a fairly good price, I called around and found some sign shops wanted 20 for 4X8. Either way you go, linoluem or coroplast, I highly suggest shopping around.
