I'm looking at buying my pig a C & C cage, preferably an "extra large" size from the GPC store. However, I live in Canada, and therefore have a few questions..
Thanks. : D This is for one pig, by the way, but she deserves more room. |

Canada's a big place. Homedepot has cubes, so does Canadian Tire and Walmart. Chloroplastis at Homedepot, long with some other places, sign shops, printers etc. You should have more then 1 pig, they like the company of their own kind at times too. Ive seen cages that use the old store bought as the litter tray or kitchen area, with the rest of the cage using fleece. |

In addition to the above places mentioned by Milkingit, you can also get cubes at Zellers. |

And you can get 16 grids that are colourful from the supercenter for about $25. Just make sure that if you do get them from there that you buy the regular ones that areshelved with the plain metal grids instead of the "kid cubes" which have bigger holes and are plastic! |

You can use the store bought cage for transport or incorporate it into your C&C cage (maybe as a second level--see the gallery for examples). And I strongly encourage you to adopt her a friend. They are so much happier in pairs. |

Hey guys & girls, I just got a couple guinea pigs and I'm new to the forum. If you're looking for cheap coroplast in Canada, go to proveer: Proveer formerly East West Plastic | Sign Supplies I got two sheets of 4' x 8' coroplast (4 mm thick) in medium blue for $26.46 after taxes, it was about $11.75 or so per sheet before taxes. It was a pretty good deal considering I've heard of other people paying $30 per sheet! |
