Buying Coroplast In Nyc!

I NEED HELP! Can't find coroplast in nyc! I called all the sign stores I found online and they all say they don't sell materials. They only place that does sell coroplast cahrges $50! for a white sheet 4'X8'. Does anybody have an idea what to do?! Thanks!

Funny of all places on earth you'd think you could find that especially NYC, I am from NY Long Island orginally so this cracks me up, but anyway I got mine on line from the C&C cage Index of / this way you can find what you want, they have nice colors and you help support their efforts, I hope this helps.

Did you try "sign stores" in the old-fashioned yellow pages rather than just what you can find online? When you talk to a store that has it, let them know you are making a guinea pig cage out of it. Some places charge a premium on "plain" coroplast because what most people will do with it is make a sign themselves, instead of paying the sign store to do it. So they don't want to facilitate that. Some places may be more likely to give you a good price if they know you are using it for something completely different and not just making a sign you don't want to pay to have made.


I'd be shocked if you really cannot get it in NYC for a reasonable price. Keep calling!

Thanks for you replies! It does sound funny, but don't foget that in NYC people are more likely to be too busy to deal with no-business stuff and especially with guinea pigs owners. They say 'no' and hang up immediately) I certainly will keep on looking though!
