Re: Should we really make our own? Hello. I replied to the person who said that the post was a scam. The one with the piggies that were hers..BUT why has she not replied. I just got an email from the woman who is trying to give these for adoption and she sound completely legitimate. She sent me some pictures of her piggies too. http://share.shutterfly.com/action/w...sxYsWa¬ag=1 She did tell me that the piggies pictured were not the ones for adoption. This was before the scam post. But I didn't ask her why she used that picture. Anyway, she sounds very nice BUT she prefers to keep the piggies as a family of three. She said they have just known each other all their lives and are happy that way. So I figured I would let you all know just in case anyone was interested in three. Thanks again for the help you all give. It's truly appreciated!

Re: Should we really make our own? I got the same email link with pictures and I don't know what to think. She sounds legit when you read her emails but her cage pics are very strange to me. Why is there no bedding other than newspaper? Why is there not one stitch of hay in the hay rack? It is all very strange.

Re: Should we really make our own? Well : o( It was legit and we were working everything out for pick up tomorrow. I was taking 2 of them and someone else was taking the one. The person that was taking one did not respond to her anymore and she asked if I would take 3. I cannot and wish I could. She mentioned that she had someone willing to take all three. So I gave them up to that person. I had to. They all knew each other their whole lives and it would be selfish of me to take the two knowing that no one was going to take the one anymore. She was really sweet and thankful of it and felt so badly getting my hopes up. So I am back to the start. The search goes on.

Re: Should we really make our own? New jersey has an excellent guinea pig rescue. rather than supporting a petstore you should have made the effort to at least VISIT the rescue. I'm actually considering adopting my 3rd soon from there.
