Hello I'm thinking of buying some guinea pigs (there so cute) I know you need two together so which size cage would be the smallest cage suitable for two guinea pigs? I would have them in my bedroom so i need a sensible size and I want to buy the correct size i have looked on ebay and all the cages are far too small! i read the post about the ebay cages thing and i totaly agree. Please help |

Hopefully you're going to adopt pigs from a shelter or rescue, or rehome them from a private owner who needs to find new homes. Buying from a store or breeder is an extremely bad idea. For 2 girls, a 2X3 cage would be fine. If you decide to go with boys, I would definitely choose a 2X4 model. They are exceedingly easy to build on your own though once you find the grids and coroplast to make them. |

Please consider getting your pigs from a rescue/shelter or from a private source. Pet shop piggies are usually sick and have mites and lice. If you need help locating a place we can help, let us know. |
