Perhaps they are for the best. I made my post on Porkchop and how his foster decided to adopt him. A shame they hadn't decided sooner, as it was somewhat painful for a last-minute notification. However, there is another piggy in need that perhaps I can help. Today we will see how things go, as our schedule is jam-packed.

As I stated before in a blog post, we are living temp. with my in-laws. Well, today is the day we move (albeit just a few doors down). There is much to do first, such as paperwork, small belongings shifted, and air-conditioning installed (weird Michiganders...). The A/C is top-priority today with the heat the way it is, and the fact that my son and the pigs CANNOT be moved until the temperature falls in the house. Money, money, money. If you aren't paying bills yet in your life, be very thankful. Times are definitely hard, and not many people have money saved the way we do. Even the money we have saved is from hard times, with my husband having been deployed.

After the appliances and what-not are picked up, then we will go to see the rescue animals. I am keeping my hopes high, but cautious. I want to do the right thing and make sure that I am well-prepared for a piggy that may have issues (see post in thread).
