Guinea Pig IPhone app

I posted this on the GL forum too, but I wanted to get an idea of who would use this. I think it would be fun and handy for those cavy slaves who have IPhones. My idea is basically for an IPhone portable version of the Guinea Lynx Cavy Health record book.
Basically what it would have is, you would be able to create a unique set of records for each of your pigs. This would include weight, records of any medications your pigs have had, you could keep personal records of vet visits, and there would be several ways you could view your pig's weight data in graph forms to give you an eyes glance at a possibly problematic weight fluctuation.
Also it would contain handy quick references for things like dangerous medications, poisonous plants, symptom checklists and so on.
So are cavy slaves out there who would use such an IPhone app? :-)

I have an iPhone and I'll probably use it. Now I keep my piggies records on Google calendar. It would be nice if you have RSS feed to see updates on this forum too (if T will allow it). It would be nice if you could put a reference to Ly's food chart and allow users to mark their pigs' favorite. Allow them to check off what they've been feeding and recommend shopping list/menu for the next day or week. That should be enough features for first release.
For the next release, allow users to connect to their account here (again, need T's permission) so they can post on the forum and allow them to take pictures with the phone camera and upload to the site.
Will it be a free app? I'd like to be your beta tester. :dPosted 05-28-09 at 11:15 pm by lissie
