Well, I'm in the process of making a 2X1 loft and well... it's not going to great. I was trying to use zip ties to connect the grids, and they made the internal area considerably smaller than the grid connectors. So then the coroplast box I made didn't fit. And it is just turning into a royal mess!

We are moving, the car is in for repairs and I am out of hay here. I have a nice big box of KM's bluegrass that is currently residing at my parents' shed six miles away because it is just taking up space here that we need for packed boxes. I have been fetching it from them as needed in those ubiquitous plastic bags everyone gets when they shop at anywhere from WalMart to the grocery store. It's meant to be the end of winter here, but in the last two days the temperature has been 30 -35 degrees celcius, i.e in the high 90s! It's horrible because instead of going Winter, Spring, it's gone right into the middle of summer with hot winds that burn and a scorching sun.

What worries me about all this is my boys. Both Picasso and Houdini are very hairy piggies, which makes it really hard on them. I've read that you're not meant to leave them over exposed to air conditioning,...

As if my pets were not weird enough, Gabby has decided her favorite place to sit when I hold her is in behind my neck. I would not mind that so much if she was not a champion poop machine. Give her an hour and she can turn a corner of the cage into a place that looks like I have not cleaned for a week. Seriously. Her out-of-cage record is 15 poops in 10 minutes. The skinny pig metabolism has nothing on Gabby's.
