Had my final today. 200 questions and three hours later. Cleaned the piggie cages, which isn't a big deal. Poor Sebastian has been neglected since school. His fur was way over grown and he needed a bath bad! He didn't have any matted fur, it just got so long he was starting to step on it. So I gave him a hair cut and bath. He is such a diva. I swear he puts up such a fight the whole time. He likes to bite, I'm getting better at not getting bit though. He sees his white locks fall and he freaks.
I miss my piggies!!
It's been a heck of a week and it's really only just begun. Working full-time and being in school has been a handful. My schedule is wacky and I get two days off every now and then. The thermostat in my appartment broke when I was working so my mom had to come over and get the pigs. It gets way to cold in this place.
I'm actually sleeping at home tonight but I'm back at work for a few days starting tomorrow and won't be back till friday night after
I have found that building guinea pig cages is plain trial and error. I have changed my cage many times and this last set up will stay this way for a long time. My fingers are red and swollen from the zip ties and I don't have the patience any time soon to remove the mass amount of zip ties I used. This cage is very sturdy.
I have been wanting to utilize the space in my appartment better and now I definitely am. I love the stacked 2x6 with a gap between the levels for easy access to
Every year since I have turned eighteen I get a jury summons like clock work. Usually I call the evenning before and they don't need me and it works out just fine.
Right now I'm taking vacation time at work so I have 16 days off in total. Since the jury summons was on a monday I decided I'd just take a chance and deal with it so that I wouldn't have to worry about it.
So I call on Sunday and find out that I've been put on standby and that I will have to call back on
I went for a nice hike today, I didn't see anyone on the trail. It was beautiful as usual. The parking lot has been closed for a week now due to the elephant seals taking it over. I'm all about the wild life having their space. What gets me are the tourists that think they can touch them and get as close as possible. It makes me angry, I live here for a reason. I just wish people would respect the local wildlife.
It drives me nuts.
