I'm going to give you a guinea pig timeline it will probably take a while but here goes I bought Peaches from a pet store ( before I'd heard of adopting guinea pigs) on December 27 201. PicturesHere is her first ever photo. Like many guinea pigs she started out with a pet store cage, I had never herd of c&c . On january 16 ,2012, Peaches saw the vet due to hair loss ,the vet confirms she is pregnant.January 17 2012 just one day later Peaches gives birth to four healthy babies York ,Hershey,Reeses,and Blackie. Peaches also saw the vet againbecause she had chewed up her side and was bleeding the vet gave her iverimectain (I'm sure I spelled that wrong) and topical medicine and Peaches had to wear a cone. The vet sexed them we had 3 males and Hershey the female. My little brother and I pick our favorite babies I liked Reeses and my little brother loved York. On January 26 York passed away for unknown reasons ;he seemed really weak and sick . On January 31 I told my younger brother that our parents said we could keep Hershey and she could be his as a birthday present;he turned 10.On that same day Peaches got her cone off ; poor thing she was almost hairless. In February ( I can't remember when ) Blackie and Reeses (the males) were separated . On Feb. 16 the males were rehomed . In April we made a c&c addition to the pet store cage. In June I joined Guinea pig cages.com and Peaches turned 2. In July Hershey turned 6 months old and I built a 2x4 c&c cage. I hope you enjoy my piggie story and I hope there are many more to come.
