Growing up I've always related to animals better than people. When I was around five my brother and and I begged our parents for a pet. My brother wanted a dog and of course I wanted a cat because it was different than what he wanted, our parents always told use no though. So, one day when my dad came home holding a little black mut puppy that fit in the palm of his hand, we where shocked. We decided to name her Kendra. Kendra grew to become something so special to me I cant really explain it in words, although, I will try. I remember driving around the back of our neighborhood with my mom and my brother on warm summer days with Kendra chasing the car from behind. We did this quit often because not only was it fun to watch but Kendra loved it. One day as we where doing this, we saw Kendra disappear around the tall over grown grass as we turned the corner, my brother and I watched and waited for her, in the back seat of our mothers car, to reaper around the corner but she never did. My mom drove around the block and stopped at the corner, she told us to wait in the car. A few minutes latter she ran back to the car, opened the back door and grabbed a blanket from the back seat and was gone. I don't remember anything after that and my next memory was of Kendra siting in the living room, her leg shaven, stitches closing what was at some point in time a vary big gash across her leg. That was the end of letting her case the car around and around the block. Kendra still had one thing she loved to do though. Playing Frisbee. You could throw the Frisbee and shed always catch it mid air, she never failed, not once.

Even though we had gotten kendra i still pushed my parents for a kitty cat. My baby sitter aproched my parents one day asking them to take this kittin, at first they said no but after hearing what this poor little kitten had been through, of coures, my mother talked my dad into it even though he did not like cats. At all. I was unaware of this untill my parents droped me off at the sitters one day and there in a crate was a small little orange tabie kittin i latter named Orangie. My sitter sat me down and told me where she gotten it and what had happend. It was in the middle of winter and one of he friends went out to start thire car. it started but something was wronge with it. they turned it off and walked to the back and looked in to the exhaust pip and there was Orangie. they pulled the kitten out and there was another. A small little black male kitten, they pulled him out and he was already dead. I asked, "why the kitties where in there car?".
she said, "they where cold and needed some place warm to stay".
I asked, "where will she go now?".
she said, "shes going home with you."
The hole day I sat by the crate talking to my new little kitten.

My parents latter got a divorce and my mother moved out, she took Kendra and Orangie with her. We lived with my moms on weekends and some holidays. Kendra didn't last long at my moms house, her home was with our dad and us. She just wasn't happy so my mom brought her back to my dads to stay, or so we thought. One day when my mom picked us up from are dads and drove us the short two minute drive to her apartment to stay the night. late at night we herd a scratch at the door, my mom got up not knowing what it could be. She started laughing and opened the screen door and in came running Kendra. she sat down right next to my brother and I and that's were she stayed. My mom called my dad and let her know Kendra was safe and that shed take her home in the morning when she took use home. Kendra started to do this often when we stayed at our moms. it got to the point when Kendra would get out of the back yard my dad would call my mom and say "Kendra's on her way over!".
