My animals are falling apart *sigh* the vets 'round here must be luvin' me...

I love my pets. So much, but...gosh, I feel like just banging my head into the wall really really
hard. Repeatedly.
Lets see...
Charlie(Guinea Pig) had a tumor removed on monday morning,
Belle(dog) and Angel(cat) both went into the vet on monday as
well, Belle for suspected bladder infection, and a fishy looking
rash like area, but the levels in her urine were off so they did
some blood testing, and still don't know what's wrong, but put her
on antibiotics for a bit just too see if it clears anything up, if not,
then more testing (the vet 1st thought it might be some kind of
organ problem or cushings, but one of the tests didn't have a
high-or low- level of something -don't really remember- so its still
possible, but there was no red flags- thank god!). And then Angel
for impaction/constipation.
Tuesday wasn't so bad, kinda busy, Shadow(dog) had a groomers
appt. just kinda normal. It was kinda late, I was cleaning up the
cages, I had Chewie(Guinea Pig) in his carrier, and guess what he
decides to do!?! He decides to try to bust out. Yank Yank Pull Yank
(on the wire door) Pull some more. SNAP! Yup, he busted his 2
front/top teeth. *bangs head into wall*
Thankfully he didn't snap them completely off or bleed alot, or I would have had
a panic attack or something, because it was like 10pm, and the vet
closes at 4pm... They were really messed up though, jutting out of
his mouth like he got punched in the face. He was able to eat a bit
though, so I helped him eat his salad, and got up every few hours
over the night to check on him. He went in yesterday morning and
ended up having them taken out completely. He was really groggy yesterday and not really interested in his food, he was eating some though, but today he's doing really well.
This week has officially sucked, and its only thursday morning.
The vets must be really lovin' me,
. Especially the pigs' vet! her
prices are ridiculous, at least with the dogs/cats vet, ya it seems
like alot, but at least I don't feel like I'm being ripped off, the price
of the exam/consultation at the pigs' vet is double the price of the
one at the dogs/cats vet. And that's not even including any
treatment or medications.
/Rant over

anything stupid.

I hear you....as far as teeth, my piggy once bit the grids and broke both top teeth off right up to the gum line. the didn't bleed and he was still able to eat. Believe it or not, in 2 weeks, they had completely grown back.
I've had a bad 2 weeks....Took tubsurround off in bathroom to replace it....ended up having to remodel the bathroom because of problems discovered. Husband had accident acouple days later with my car....was going down a busy highway in three lane traffic...front wheel on drivers side "snapped off" brakes blew off all over the road....repairs, $800.00, bathroom repairs, $1500.00. This morning, husbands cars went in for brake work....325.00dollars. Picked up taxes today...cost for preparation $295.00. Vacuum broke..replaced with a dyson ball...animal...$550.00 (good vacuum too). Rabbit had lip bit off by another rabbit...$215.00 and same day daughter got a ticket for running a stop sign on way to vet...$109.00...all this in one week....tell me about it!Posted 04-11-09 at 11:05 am by pigsmakemesmile
