Okay, so for English class, we are finally going to be able to really write-stuff that isn't essays. Naturally, I was thrilled when I found out. However, the genre is adventure, something I generally stay away from writing because although I enjoy it, I've discovered that almost every plot has already been written about. Anyways, thats the requirement. We also have a rubric to follow, but I plan on simply writing the story then editing it to fit the guidelines-since I actually want to use the story for something more productive than an English grade.
So, I was brainstorming ideas, quotes, anything to get me started. I had been fooling around with a "future-seeing" type person, then I came across Rihanna's new song...Russian Roulette. I'm not usually the type of person to listen to Rihanna, but the song got me thinking. I started writing, and I like where the story is going, but I want some outside opinions. So, the story opens with the protagonist (a guy, college aged, although he's not in college), having one of his "vision" type things, in which he's being forced to play the game Russian Roulette. But (of course) it ended before he knew whether he dies or not. However he knows all his visions end up coming true, so the story is about his "adventure" (which I'm not sure of what it is yet :P) and ends the same way it starts, but this time he's playing the game for real. All I know is that in the end, pulls the trigger and has another vision, of heaven, then he dies. Anyways, sort of "pushing the envelope" for my class, but I think its going to be okay.

No, my week was ANYTHING but fun. I was loaded down with tests, and soccer practice, and karate, and homework beyond belief. I believe I got a total of 5 hours of sleep this entire week.

Then on Thursday we had a soccer game against one of the wealthiest, best soccer schools in the district (I go to a city school, so technically we aren't even IN their district!!). We, of course, got blown out 13-0. I didn't mind that, but I also got spiked and hurt my ankle. Then, yesterday, we had another game. Almost half our team couldn't come, or didn't show up, and I played an entire game on an ankle I can barely walk on. I played my best, but by the end of the game I nearly collapsed about 5 times. It's still swollen, I can't fully move it, and it hurts like....*thinks of polite word* It hurts quite badly!

Now today is my brothers birthday, and he is going gokarting, but I can't go, because I can't walk on my ankle, nonetheless hold down a pedal for the entire length of a course. I can barely move my toes! :grumpy:

Needless to say, this was just a rant....Urghh!!! Anyways, thanks for listening, I suppose. :expressio

I haven't posted to my blog in a while, and I've been sort of inactive around the forums, though I do get on every day, usually. I feel so guilty! :ohmy: Anyways, I felt like I should post and avoid becoming altogether nonexistant on this forum. :eek: I will change! I promise! Anyways, I am going overboard on these smileys and really should stop. Soccer is starting soon, and thats really exciting. I also might move in a year, which is not so exciting. Either way, I'm back to school, and the younger kids look really small and the older ones look less huge than last year. :eek: I thought it was impossible...

...With the cheesy, over the top dramatic show that is American Idol. So when my aunt offered me tickets to go to the concert with her, I jumped on the offer, canceling all plans and immediately trying to decide what outfit would be most "Lambert-ish". ;)
Needless to say, the concert was WAY more amazing than I every thought it could be...mostly due to the fact that I saw Adam Lambert live (something I am slightly to happy about). Anyway, if any Idol fans are out there, I'll be happy to supply some pictures if you wish. Anyway, Allison, Adam and Matt definitely made the night, while Danny almost bored me to tears. :rolleyes:

Max Talcot had two amazing goals...Crosby went down in the second period but game back for a shift in the third. I must say, I am verrrrrry proud of my team, and of Sid the Kid for coming back with his injured knee. If there are any other Penguins fans out there, I would love to chat...if there are some Red Wings fans, we can sit and argue about calls. Lol, but anyway, just wanted to do a bit of celebratory bragging, especially since my Yankees didn't do so well against those Sox. :sad:

As those of you who read my other dance blog, we had a semi formal yesterday...and I finally found a dress! I had the time of my life, despite the incredible amount of people in that gym!! I (*hits head*) didn't bring my phone so I don't have any pictures, but if my friend emails them I will post them. Anyway, I was pretty nervous beforehand, because our softball (conditioning) practice ended 15 minutes before the dance started, so I was a little late. But I picked up three of my friends so I wasn't the only one who was. Despite this thing being SEMI-formal, people were incredibly fancy and everyone looked gorgeous. So, I wasn't the only Latina girl whose mother made her wear a fancy dress and heels! One girl was even wearing a prom dress! :eye-poppi Anyway, after immense rushing, I got to the dance looking decent and I danced with everyone and their brother...;)
So, to sum it all up, I had a TON of fun and am soo glad I went!!

So, next week is our school dance. :sick: I've been to some dances, but not enough to be called experienced. Should I go? I've been asked three times, and I really don't know what to say to those guys. I mean, if I DO go, I don't really want to go with a guy. I want to go with my friends and look at the weirdos who think they can dance. :rolleyes: Anyway, anyone have advice? Should I go? If I do, with a guy or with my friends? Anyone have any paticularly funny school-dance stories they would like to share?

I loooove these new features. :p I went to Joanne Fabrics today because my mother needed some stuff to make my grandmother a birthday present, and I found some new fleece. :):) Its verrrry cool and if I can dig my camera out of hiding I'll show it to you all. Anyway, they are loving it and so am I.

So, whats up everyone? I'm l:love:ving the new features, so I figured I would give this blog a shot. This new stuff is sorta cool, isn't it? I like it, especially this blog, because I've got no life whatsoever and the computer is a great way to pass time. Lol...jk for the most part.
Anyway...yeah. Whats new with me? Well, I broke my left wrist last weekend because I was with a bunch of guy friends and one dared me to do a back flip when I was ice skating (I play hockey and used to figure skate so its not like I can't skate or anything) so I did, and the first time I pretty much landed it (its easier than it sounds) but the second time I fell and landed on my wrist wrong. I also cracked a rib, but I can't feel that and its not really worth mentioning. Sooo thats basically my life right now. Oh, oh! The piggies are getting some new fleece, too! :)
