I just spoke with a friend who had seen it as well. She said she goes to a LOT of shows and this was also BY FAR THE BEST live show she's ever been to!

You should read the books the play is based off of by Gregory Maguire. Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, Son of a Witch and A Lion Among Men.
Have you ever seen Avenue Q. It won the Tony a few years ago. It is very amusing, but be warned there is lots of sexual content and "inappropriate" language. I think it's a great commentary on society though.Posted 03-06-09 at 08:59 pm by starshine123102
