I've got a lot to do today. I have my son, who is two, helping me. Already today, he picked up his letters, and is picking up his blocks, and helped me to feed the birds. It won't be long until he's feeding cilantro to the piggies... well, maybe a little longer.

He's such a great kid. I'm so happy I'm teaching him from such a young age how to respect and care for animals. Of course, I'll be responsible for the petting zoo, but every opportunity is one to teach and learn.

Well, I suspect the boys might truly have mange mites again, thanks to my brother who actually admitted to putting the infected cozies into the hutch. It seems to be in its early stages and even though I treated them with Revolution you can only be so careful and give guinea pigs the tiniest amount...
I think everyone knows that the only way to get rid of mange mites is a shot of Ivermectin and a thorough disinfection of everything.

So I told my mother about the mites and that...

If anyone ever figures out how to go back.. say even 15 years let me know.

I live in a tiny little apartment with my daughter (pre teen going on teen angst!) and my guinea-kids.

I used to live in roomy 3 bedroom townhouse before down sizing to my current divot of an apartment as a faster means of saving to buy a house. I don't like big houses so this should be working great. Only thing is that there is precious little room for everyone!

Well for anyone who has been reading my little blog-thingy, here's an update.

My allergies to my pigs are all but a thing of the past now that I've switched 100% to orchard grass and have had some time to let my system settle down from that havoc that caused. One bonus to the whole situation is that with taking allergy meds everyday now I'm not reacting to the cheap metal on some of my favorite necklaces and now can wear them again! YAY

TV is now pretty much a thing...
