I should've began school about two months ago but could not, due to physical issues I was (and still am) having. My mom and I decided to take the bus 2 miles away to a school (to get a tour and such).

I woke up at about 7am, because my mom wanted me to wake up early (they never gave us a pinpointed time to come). We didn't know the area very well, because we recently moved, so we decided to walk the entire way, regardless of the Southern Florida temperature (91F).

I've got a lot to do today. I have my son, who is two, helping me. Already today, he picked up his letters, and is picking up his blocks, and helped me to feed the birds. It won't be long until he's feeding cilantro to the piggies... well, maybe a little longer.

He's such a great kid. I'm so happy I'm teaching him from such a young age how to respect and care for animals. Of course, I'll be responsible for the petting zoo, but every opportunity is one to teach and learn.

It's day, what, four on this fleece?

Because my toddler was sick, I spent the morning battling anything and everything that even MIGHT smell bad, swept the fleece, swept the carpet, washed the dishes, took out the trash (took out the bathroom trash too) and washed the icky clothes. This plus crackers and milk, and he appears to be feeling better. Not to mention the fact that the house does not reek. Not sure what had caused it, but it's gone now.

I'm getting a little worried...

I just recently switched to oxbow hay. My little guy loves it. I had bought him a bag of Timothy hay and a bag of Orchard hay. I took them home and put them in the hay rack with the Timothy hay on bottom and orchard on top. He actually stood up just to eat the Orchard grass. A few days later I refilled the hay rack ( it takes him a few days to eat it all) and mixed it together, needless to say there was hay everywhere because he picked threw it just to get to the orchard hay I am assuming because...

YEAH!! I can finally post to my blog. So lest see. I have one piggy, named Gizmo. He is very cute, although he can be a bit on the mean side. . He is a nipper. It makes me sad but he has his moments.
