I think im going to get another guinea pig so my Poppy won't be lonely while i take some classes. My piggie is a little older then a year old. I have some questions like would it be OK if I got a baby piggie (
) ? Like will it be like older sister, younger sister who always fight and never get along? And also how to first introduce the pigs when I first bring the new one home? thanx alot!

The new piggie will need to be quarantined for 3 weeks upon arrival to your home. Usually younger is fine as dominance is determined quicker (the older being the dominant one in most occaisions). You must check, double check, ask the vet and rescue to check that it is a female you are bringing home as an un-neutered male wont take his time making babies!
Also, you will need to have plenty of space etc and a few more things like, and extra drinking bottle, extra food bowl, and possibly an extra hidey house.
Hope that helps.
