introducing new piggy

You should quarantine the new one for a couple of weeks. Since they are so young, you shouldnt have any problem introducing them. My four pigs choose to eat out of the same bowl and drink out of the same water bottle even though there are two of each in there. You just need a larger food dish.

Yes. You need to make sure that your new pig isn't hiding any illnesses which could be passed onto "2". I should imagine that there would be no problems with your new girl though, especially if she has lived on her own up until now. As the saying goes, "it's better to be safe than sorry".

Are they from a pet store? If so, are you sure they are both sows? If they are, they may be pregnant though.

Do you have a C&C cage? You need to quarantine and introduce them on neutral territory. You need at least 2 of everything in the cage.

No matter were they came from, I would visit: cavyspirit.com, and go to the "sexing" section, just to make sure that they are both the same sex. I would not put them together untill you are 100%. We do not need anymore unwanted piggies in the world. Not to mention the added cost and work babies bring. The two pigs you have now are probibly going to be fine introduction wise, they are both young. ;)

I would still do a strict quarantine in a separate cage in a separate room for at least 2 weeks.

I personally dont think you have a lot to worry about. It is really soon after you got the first one, and they have probably only been exposed to the same pigs. I know that it is always best to quarantine, but this has to be some sort of exception. Just my opinion.
