Re: which bedding or absorbent and ordorless bedding it best for two females guinea p

if you're planning to build a c&c cage I would suggest using fleece actually. I use fleece in my 2x4 c&c cage for two boars and they don't smell at all (and boars are the smelliest) I change my fleece once a week and have a kitchen area (basically a small box made with leftover coroplast) that has yesterday's news in it (that's a very good brand of cat litter)

If you don't know anything about using fleece click the link below. If the link doesnt work, click on the bedding topic and you will see a thread called "the fleece project"

I would also highly recommend fleece. I had my 2 females on aspen bedding for a week and I HATED it. I switched to fleece and will NEVER go back to any other bedding again. It is a major pain to get conditioned correctly before you can use it properly but once you do it works absolutely wonderfully! No smell, No messy cleanup, and the piggies love it! You MUST read the directions on how to get the fleece ready for use and the proper underbedding to use to get the best mileage from it. Good luck!

There are some types of cat litter than can safely be used but there are also types that are very unsafe such as clay based or clumping cat litters. Yesterday's News is a recycled paper product.

I agree, I use fleece with a kitchen area with Yesterday's News and also a little corner litter pan with Yesterday's News. I usually dump the small corner litter pan every other day and the larger pan every 4-5.
