Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 What about Oxbow's Straw Pelleted bedding?? Is it good/bad, what about the quality?? Soft on pigges feet or just out of this world (in the really bad way). I saw it only and I was wondering if it was suitable to play the roll as "piggie bedding". |

Oxbow Eco Straw: 100% Natural Small Pet Litter at Drs. Foster and Smith --- You mean these? There are all good reviews on that site, by the way. 20lbs for less than 20 dollars doesn't seem bad, either. I just wonder how many square feet it covers... |

It doesn't look as comfortable on th feet as other beddings such as carefresh or fleece. |

Bedding questions belong in the Bedding forum, not in the Diet forum. Your thread has been moved. Please pay attention to where you are posting your threads and make sure they are in the proper forum section for your question. If in doubt, there is a sticky thread in the About Guinea Pigs forum that tells you about each forum section. Straw does not make good bedding. It would most likely be rough on the feet and does not absorb well. |

You can find cheaper pelleted bedding at the feed store usually but you need to put shavings or hay on top as it is too hard for their feet normally. |
