Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 HI-- We have a newly built c&c cage that has been occupied for 3 days now--2 floor, 2x4, 2 girlie pigs on one floor and 1 male on another. Here is the issue we are having... Our piggies are pulling the fleece and towels back in the corners and peeing/pooping there. Also on the rest of the fabric somewhat-- but in a very concentrated effort in a few corners Is there a way to discourage them from digging under the fleece?? We love the whole c&c concept and cage! Thanks so much for sharing ideas. |

I put bricks in 2 of the corners. One has a big box filled with hay leading to be a litter box. Then I have another corner litter box that is like a triangle shape in the other, zip tied to the cage. She actually uses them both and I don't find poos around the cage anymore. |

Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 Thanks wheekers01! The bricks did the trick, plus a bit of maneuvering on cage items. I also bought a change of fleece for washing day and this time got it a bit bigger so that I can clip it up on to the coroplast as I have now noticed in some of the gallery pictures. We are enjoying the new cage so much, and I can only imagine how much happier the piggies are! Tnaks again, I am glad to have found this site! DAwn |
