Fabric Softener.

I know you aren't really supposed to use fabric softener on fleece, but we have had these two fleece blankets since the beginning of January and they are getting rough and "dry"-feeling. Would it help if I just used one small lid of the softener just so it is actually soft again? I do an extra rinse cycle when I wash fleece so that should help rinse extra softener out of the fleece, right?

Re: Fabric Softener.

Have you used vinegar in your wash cycle/rinse cycle? That seems to keep mine feeling just right. But it could be that my water is different than yours, although we have hard water out here.

Re: Fabric Softener.

You could try just letting it air dry. Adding softener will decrease the ability of the fleece to wick moisture through.
