Well, I really like the idea of fleece, but not too keen on the idea of exploiting another animal for our own gain. Plus the sheep tend to get roughed up in the processes of shearing. Is there an alternative to fleece I can use instead? How about micro fleece? |

We aren't talking about fleece that comes off of a sheep. We are talking about 100% polyester fleece which is a synthetic material that is man made. |

The fleece most of us use is 100% polyester, which is entirely synthetic. No roughing up or exploitation of sheep or any other barnyard animals required. |

I thought you didn't have pigs, just rats? I didn't find that fabric bedding (fleece or otherwise) works well with rats at all-- they tended to either eat it, or wad it up and try to nest in it, which defeated the purpose. |
