Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0
Hi, When we first got our pigs about 6 months ago, we were using the Care Free soft bedding, which we liked, but we became interested in a bulk, cheaper product. So, we switched to the cedar shavings, which is cheaper and you can buy from a feed store, BUT the shavings made our pigs cough and sneeze, and we do not like it. So we got the Purina Yesterday's News, and LOVE it, but don't love the price. Does anyone know of a cheaper version of the same product or of a place we can buy it in bulk? Thanks! |

Not sure where you are. I used to get Yesterday's News for about $5. I got the cat litter type. You can use those. Choose the ones with no perfume. I just switched to all fleece. No more lugging around litter bags for me |

Yes, cedar shavings are bad. I don't see anyone on this thread mentioned cedar. Yesterday's News is made of recycled newspaper. Purina® Yesterday's News® brand Litter with Moisture Locking Paper Pellets Edit: Oh.. I just saw the original post where he/she said switched to cedar shavings. I guess it's good that he/she doesn't use it anymore. Last edited by lissie; 04-30-09 at 04:06 pm. |
