Question absorbant liners

Has anyone tried the absorbant liners that they make especially for small animal cages? i saw some at the store and wanted to see what everyone thought before i got them. i was thinking of using them underneath the bedding to catch any excess pee that wasnt caught in the bedding thought maybe it would help with the smell

Re: absorbant liners

Mine aren't from a pet store. Mine were made by someone. They are lap pads made with a waterproof material on the bottom, absorbant material for the filling and then fleece. I have 4 of them and put them under their pigloo and hidey house. I switch them out every couple days.

Re: absorbant liners

They defintely help keep the fleece mattress underneath protected more and it seems to really help. Plus I use them when I have lap time.

Re: absorbant liners

From what i could see they were like a cotton type material like a puppy pad and they said you could cut them to the size of your cage.

Re: absorbant liners

Mine aren't. Mine have the waterproof liner on the bottom, an absorbent layer of material in the middle and fleece on the top. They are sewn together into a square pad.
