Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 How do you get all the moulted hairs off the fleece? At the moment I don't use fleece but when I did I first shook it out in the garden to get rid of any loose hairs but the hairs really stick to it, not all come off and there is still a load left on. I guess you could use cellotape but that would take so long. And I don't know if a hoover would work. I am planning to use fleece again when I have my piggies cage in my room (they're currently in the shed) and will probably choose to hand-wash. But I don't want the hairs to clog up the plumbing. |

I use a whisk broom http://www.hensonbrooms.com/photos/l...hisk_Broom.jpg and a lint roller http://www.johnlewis.com/jl_assets/p.../230215381.jpg. I wash it in the washing machine, but if you are worried about the pipes, use something 1x/week for declogging pipes, just to prevent it. |

I get my piggies out, vacuum the entire thing, then take it outside and beat it -- if you want to be technical, I whip it against the wood beams that support the porch roof. Then I use a big corn broom... heh, I've been told it's quite entertaining to watch me sweep my fleece outside. I stand on it and sweep the heck out of it. It's the easiest way for me, though, so I let them laugh! I use my own washer & dryer, too, haven't had a problem with clogs. |

I just shake it and put it in the wash. Most of the hair clumps together and then I just pull it off before putting it in the dryer. |

I sweep up the poop and hay then lay it out on the floor and fun the hand vaccum over it, it works great |

I do have a hand-held hoover so will use that. I also have one of those sticky rollers that BubuCandyBlue uses. We use that as we have a dalmatian and anyone who has ever had a dally will know how black trousers can turn white in seconds! |

I use the dyson pet brush attachment on my shop vac. It really gets up a lot of hair and there is hardly any left on the fleece or the lint screen in the dryer. |
