I was wondering if towels would be a good bedding option? Scarlette has taken a particular fondness to them, so I was wondering if they were safe to use? Also, can anyone explain to me the "kitchen" aspect of the cage? I've seen people with carefresh & fleece, I'm just confused. |

Towels wouldn't be such a great idea, because when they get wet, they stay wet. Whereas fleece wicks the urine underneath, so she's never on wet bedding. The kitchen aspect of a cage is that you have the hayrack, pellet bowl, and serve veggies there, since piggies often eat and poop at the same time. Therefore, it keeps the rest of the cage cleaner, because the food would be in one spot. |
