Where can I get fresh hay in Missouri?

I dont know where to get fresh hay. I bought a 1 lb. bag from the petstore (Timothy) but it doesnt seem very fresh. I mean it is still green and everything but it is stiff and doesnt seem like what everyone eles uses. What should I do? Could I just give her grass (not treated with anything) from outside until I find some place else that I can get it from? Also any ideas on where else I could get it from ? Thank you.

See they hay page from this site. It's got lots of ideas:

Also if anyone in your area keeps horses and you can find a tack and feed store, this seems to be the most economical - if you have room to store a bale of hay. My local store sells an entire bale of 2nd cut western timothy for $20.
