Question bedding

I am not really sure if this is the right area for this, and I apologize if its not. IF I am understanding this right do I need to have hay down at the bottom of my cage? I currently use CareFRESH Pet Bedding/Litter due to allergies I have with typical bedding you buy at meijers, etc.

Re: bedding

Just the Carefresh is fine. A layer of hay on the bottom will just get wet and moldy quickly, and your pig won't want to eat it. Put your hay in some sort of container, tray, or hay rack, so the majority of it won't be trampled and/or peed on.

Please go to the main forum page and read and make yourself familiar with all of the names of the different sections. That will both help you know where to post your questions and help you find some answers without starting new threads if you read some of what others have already written. I moved this into "Bedding and Hay"
