I've been trying to buy things online when I can because I don't want to support stores that sell pets, but there are some things I haven't been able to find online. I've been buying my hay and pellets from KMs, and I finally found a place to order REALLY good bedding from. I think it's better than Carefresh. I ordered the White Tek, which is the equivalent of Carefresh Ultra. It looks exactly like Carefresh Ultra, but it's softer and even less dusty. I ordered it from www.kimsarkrescue.org It's a rat rescue. I bought a 50 L bag (which is what the big bag of Carefresh is) for $15. In the store Carefresh Ultra is $24.99 at my local Petsmart. By the time you add shipping it's the same price, though like I said, I like this bedding way better. Just thought I'd throw that out there. They also have the brown bedding like the regular Carefresh, but I haven't ordered any so I can't honestly vouch for it. |

Hmm...I went on there just now, and the White Tek-Fresh is $19, and the regular is $15. Either way, still a good price and congrats on supporting a rescue to buy bedding. On a side note, if anyone uses the colored Carefresh, Critterstore has 10L bags of all of the colors on their site. I've only seen 5L in stores, and it's much more economical this way. |
