Re: Fleece Maintenance Ideas

I dont have access to a sewing machine so insted of the velcro or snaps I just used duct tape. This seems to work well too!

Re: Fleece Maintenance Ideas

Um, can you sew on snaps by hand? I don't know if I'm gonna be able to figure out how to.

Here is the kind of snaps I used:

They are just like sewing on buttons -
put your fleece under your frame and then eyeball where each side of the snap should go & mark it with a sharpie.

Then place one side of the snap on the fleece & sew. You just run the thread in the top right hole to the bottom right hole then from the bottom left hole to the top left hole. After two sets of that reverse the sewing direction to sew from the top right hole to the top left hole, then to the bottom left hole to the bottom right hole.

If you go to a sewing store & buy them any of the girls will be able to help you out :-).

Re: Fleece Maintenance Ideas

Have you tried cleaning out the hose by putting a broom handle down it? I have the same problem with my shop vac and a broom handle works to push out the hay.

I disagree here. My fleece certainly shrank when I washed it!

Re: Fleece Maintenance Ideas

I'm just picking on Caligo. Thread necromancy is when you bring a "dead" thread back to "life" as a necromancer would do with the dead. Just a little joke.
