Darn. Why do people do that? They think they are doing the animals a service by offering them for free. I wish people would stop and think about this and ask a reasonable fee.

i know....that's why i figured i'd post it here.....i know how people are they see free stuff and have other allternatives, i just hope someone gives them a good home and they don't end up food!!

I'm several state lines away, but I sent them an email asking them to at least ask for a $20 rehoming fee so the poor pigs don't become snake snacks.

I've done that before -- Once in a while, people are unaware of what can happen to free animals and the person is grateful for the heads up but I usually get a "mind your own business" response.

They probably know the pigs could end up as snake food but just don't care, as long as they get rid of them. Hence the "mind your own business." Sad but true that some people have no regard for these little lives that we know are so precious.
