2 male guinea pigs need new home

I have 2 male guineas that sadly, I am going to have to rehome.
My story: I am now in need of a new home due to issues with parents. I need to rehome my boys because any of the places I might be able to stay are not going to allow me to add extra animals to their homes. Also money is becoming a huge issue because now I am going to be paying for a lot more and not be able to provide for my 2 babies.
I have Lenny and MingMing. (If you have seen they children's show "Wonder Pets" you would know that is where they got their name.)

Lenny is all white with a tad bit of tan around one eye. His hair lays down except one cowlic on the top of his head.
MingMing is black and white with the crazy hair that stands up everywhere. (very cute!)
They are both decently friendly but honestly don't enjoy being held much as of now. They have been poorly socialized and with time could probably learn to LOVE their humans. I just recently got them off of craigslist and have been working with them. The past few weeks have been hard and I have no been around as much as I need to be.
I am terrified of them going somewhere they will not be loved. I am putting some trust in everyone on this site. If you can't take them both them maybe you can give me advice.
I also have a c&c cage but will probably be asking a bit of money for the cage just because I spent 40 or 50 dollars just on the grids. I believe it is a 5x3 and there is a top level but they wont use it so I don't use it.

Please, I am begging everyone for help(rehoming or even just advice)! I feel terrible about rehoming them. I love them very much.

Your situation is just awful. I hate to hear of someone having to make such difficult choices. I know getting rid of your pets is a very hard thing to do. I think that you are doing to right thing buy stepping up and asking for help. That makes you a good pet parent in my book. I cannot help you as I'm in Florida. Hopefully someone in your area will step up and help you out. Maybe you could get someone to keep them while you get back on your feet? Unfortunately you are having to make tough choices, a lot of people are in this economy. I feel for you. Good luck.

Candy: Thank you very much. I have been trying to find any reason to be able to keep them but I also want them to have the attention and time with humans as they need especially because they are still skiddish. They really shouldn't have much time to get away from people.

Oh my I am so sorry, that's just very sad...
But, it's good that you can find someone for them. I saw some piggies (long story, really long) in the vet yesterday and I asked if he was going to sell them, but he said they are going to be euthanized because they got them form a home where people moved and left their animals behind!!!!
And as they only give dogs for adoption, there is nothing they can do for them. There are cats, rabbits birds, turtles and piggies there... it's just so sad... I asked him if I could adopt a rabbit and a piggie, but he said that they belong to the city hall now and there is nothing he can do about it...
I cried so much!!! It's just awful!!!

I refuse to give my animals to a shelter. I will not risk their lives. I would hate to find out that my animals were the ones to be euthanized because there was no room for them.
I will find them a good home where I know they will stay for a very long time, hopefully forever. I want to find a home where there are many pigs already so I know the person taking them is responsible and experienced.
I am very aware of how people abuse or neglect their animals and I am not going to contribute any animals to that. I will ensure they go to a great home. I love them too much to let them suffer.

A rescue (not the ASPCA) would likely help you find a home for them. You can call and ask if they can post your pigs on petfinder or something.

I know my local rescue is very full often and can't take additional fosters but we'll often be able to help people place their pets themselves or find ways for them to keep their pets they may not have considered.

Hello, I am in Yorkville Il 60560. If you still need a home for your little piggies. We would glad to give thema home. We are a fun and loving animal home and would like to add to our little family. We have Diego our 7m old piggy, Popcorn our almost 2 yr old citron cockatoo, snickers our 6 year english bulldog, Our four cats skittles 1yr, Boos 9yr, Gypsy 11yr , Kitkat 15yr? our little granny plus our fish. So your little guys won't be loney at all. We also have 3 children ages 5 ,5 and 3.

I wouldn't be able to come and get them but if you are willling to drive we would give them a wonderful home.

Wanted to follow-up with you and see how your adoption situation worked out--did you find someone nearby who could adopt them and be open to letting you visit them? Were you successful in finding a new apartment/place? Did you have a good winter break?

I have not had much luck finding these 2 a home sadly. I had a few people say they wanted them but didn't follow through with it at the last minute. I have tried to recontact people but they must just not be interested.
I am thinking that I should be in my apartment in about a week or so which will be nice.
My winter break was pretty good but stressful at the same time. How about yours?
