This forum is for posting about guinea pigs for adoption. People who are looking to rehome their guinea pig may post about it here.

Attention members:

Please do NOT offer up suggestions on how someone can keep their guinea pigs, unless it is specifically asked for. Reasons given publicly for rehoming are almost always not the only reason and in some cases, not the real reason. Let it go. People should be able to post about rehoming their guinea pigs without criticism for doing so. Do not suggest that someone looking to rehome their guinea pig get another to keep that guinea pig company.

Feel free to help them out on getting to more information that will make for a good description or understanding of the guinea pigs needing a new home.

Please do not say or post anywhere "Free to good home." That is open invitation to bunchers and snake owners. Trust me, you will not be able to tell who they are. They are professionals at telling you what you want to hear in order to obtain your animals for nefarious reasons.

Please register on and create a listing for your guinea pig(s) on this site: Guinea Pig Home. The directions for registering and posting are on the middle left of the page. You are doing yourself a serious disservice if you don't list your guinea pigs there.
