I just got that "mating pair" from this lady. I really just wanted the girl, but she didn't want to seperate them, and after seeing their sad little cages, I had to take him too. he's pretty cool. he comes right up to you when you put your hand to the cage. All they had in their cages was some white computer paper (just in 2 layers!) on the bottom and a bowl with food and a water bottle. the girl did have a ball. but good grief! they had to be soooo bored! i immediatly gave them each some good bedding, hay, vegies and temporary shoe box house, which they immediatly ran too!

anyway, he's tri colored and has a great black face. i'll try to get a pic uploaded tomorrow. he's about 1 1/2 yrs old. he's a fairly big guy too.

Did you separate them in case she isn't pregnant already, or is and won't be backbred?

I don't think it's fair to rehome him. Can you get him neutered?

they are already seperated. she said they've been in seperate cages since she had her last litter.


i thought about keeping him and getting him neutered. but i called some vets around here and it'll cost like $200! my husband would shoot me!

yup, that's my real name! my sisters name is Dallas...no she wasn't born there. but i was born on the 2nd day of summer..june 22.
