I was just online looking at the different piggies in different shelters. I noticed there are six piggies in the Champaign Humane Society-three females & three males. I didn't know if anyone was looking around here to adopt but (hopefully this'll work) here is the webpage: www.cuhumane.org Good luck. I wish I could take them in but I'm not set up (cage wise & hubby wise) to take any in and do a rescue.

Ok I went on their website and they now have three more piggies. The sex of them and age are unknown. When does it stop??? That makes nine in their care.

It doesn't stop JennG! But you must be careful about overloading your own resources. You can only care for so many on a personal level. You have to consider your financial and physical position always.
You also have to consider the other people who live in your house. If your spouse/partner becomes very unhappy with the number of pigs you have, you can find yourself having to make a choice between pigs or partner!
Unfortunately, you can't save every unwanted pig or other animal out there. Take in what you can and give them the best care that you can. Help the others find homes if possible. Don't feel guilty about the ones that you cannot take, you did not create their situation. Feel happy and blessed for the ones that you can save and give a good life.

Thanks for the pep talk. I know I can't handle too much more. I just feel bad.
