Baby Female Piggie Wanted In Central GA

[font=Comic Sans MS]Well, I live in a tiny town without a rescue. I have called my humane society and animal shelter but no piggies. The humane society actually recommended a pet shop. I've tried calling it but the number made a loud screeching noise. Just to see if maybe the guinea pigs have been rescued. I've asked veterinarians and teachers who have classroom pets. I've tried petfinder also. Guess what? I found a rescue in Atlanta! I have emailed them and am waiting for a response. Anyone have a baby female in central GA needing a good home? My reasons for wanting a baby are.. to tame her very early, since we will be losing our 3 year old girl in a few years, we will still have a pet for many years and I'm guessing they will adjust to each other better. We will provide her with all the things I've learned about on this site plus a very loving home. [/font]

The ones that I'm interested in have adoptions pending. Quite a few are on pregnancy watch. I'm going to email them about any possible babies. If things work out, I'll definitely let you know. No problem, I love the idea of helping someone out. I have 3 boys I am trying to get from aqh88 on these forums she lives in Iowa and I cant get to them trying to find someone who could do the same for me and help transport them for me. I am getting Carmelita, and Cara those are going to be my girls.

YAY! You guys want to adopt from PigTales. I met the lady who runs it while transporting a pig to Orlando. She is very nice and takes very good care of the rescue pigs.


Good Luck in finding what you want Melissa, however an older pig can provide great companionship. Did you see Maria, she is not that old

Yes, I saw her. She is beautiful and has long hair. My Lacy has long hair too. I keep her trimmed but I must admit, it isn't a pleasant task. I know that sounds mean but I would prefer a short-haired one. Looks like I won't be adopting from PigTales after all. I adopted a little girl last night. I will post a thread under cavy chat (I believe that's where it should go). Thank you both for your help!
