Adoptions Wanted!

Hi, I'm new here. I'm currently searching for an adoption/shelter/rescue for guinea pigs where there are high kill rates. I don't want to see the piggies euthanized, so if anyone who lives in Southern CA around LA area knows other sites where I can contact rescues/shelters to adopt a pair. I absolutely love piggies, but instead of buying them at petco/petsmart, I'd rather save the lives in need. I really hope I can get to the piggies. Thank you. I'll be waiting for replies.

have you tried petfinder.com? There are allot of pigs in the LA area. Did you check the shelter?

Check with Teresa at teresa@cavyspirit.com. Ask her if there are any kill shelters that have pigs, she will know. She is in San Mateo.

Thank you so much everyone. I've contacted those I could like LA Animal shelters and OC Cavy Haven. They don't have many at the moment. The only problem is that my parents don't allow pets indoors but we have a covered and screened patio that has enough room to put a C&C cage for the piggies to roam. I'm still negotiating with my parents to have the piggies indoor at night and in the patio during the day. I really hope things work out.
