Re: Looking to more adopt-rescue neutered/unneuterd boy Pigs. southern California You are absolutely correct, That is where I got my Pig-pig... I was more or less wondering if anyone else wanted to get rid of their pig(s).

Re: Looking to more adopt-rescue neutered/unneuterd boy Pigs. southern California This person had an accidental litter, but I think they may have gone to Fenella already. http://cavycages.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8510 If you adopt from a rescue, it frees up a foster spot for another pig. Otherwise, try an animal shelter or www.craigslist.org like this one http://sandiego.craigslist.org/pet/92482477.html

Re: Looking to more adopt-rescue neutered/unneuterd boy Pigs. southern California I talked with Fenella about that already, last week Wednesday. My wife and I have really big hearts and don't want to hear anymore horror stories about these little guys(and gals) going through a terrible life. My Son is 20 months and loves to help us take care of him. All the love we have to offer, makes the cost of these guys(and gals) almost nonexistent. I have recently finished Pig-pig's third story on his Guinea-condo, so we are excited for him to recieve a room mate or two.

Re: Looking to more adopt-rescue neutered/unneuterd boy Pigs. southern California Fenella has Cinnamon and Coco's babies now. It turned out to be 3 boys and 1 girl. When I took them to her this past Saturday she mentioned she had someone to adopt 1 or 2 of them already. They were terrific but it was an accidental litter. We did not expect them and really are not equipt to handle 6 piggies. Good luck. Please let me know if you end up with any. They are brown with a little bit of white with this great crazy hair that look like mohawks.

You said one other thing "..anyone else wanted to get rid of their pig(s)". I did not "want" to get rid of the babies. I turned them over to Fenella because I knew that she would be able to find excellent homes for them. I would have loved to keep them but we just did not have the space for 6 piggies. We already have 3 cats, 2 birds, large fish tank full of fish, 2 piggies, and 1 rabbit. We treat our pet very well. |

Re: Looking to more adopt-rescue neutered/unneuterd boy Pigs. southern California Sincerely... I believe is a descent way to start a response, to possibly dig my way out of a possible unintended rude comment. I by no means inteneded for this to be pointed towards you specifically. I was simply using it in a vague/informative way. I believe you giving the babies to Wee Companions was the best thing you could have done for them. She will find a wonderful home for them. Please accept my apologies If I in anyway offended you. ![]()

Re: Looking to more adopt-rescue neutered/unneuterd boy Pigs. southern California No problem :-) I just wanted to make sure it was not intended toward me :-) I have only had to give up a pet one other time in my life and it was just as difficult then as it was now. When we had our son, one of our cats that I had for years and years became very jealous and would poop all over the floor when we were gone during the day. She never did this before our son was born. We tried everything and it just got so bad we had to give her up. I was hearbroken, guilty feeling and felt like such a bad cat mom. I miss seeing the gp babies. I would have loved to have seen them grow up. No harm, no foul.
