Female Skinny needs a home Hi, Some things have changed in my personal life and I have to move and cannot bring my Skinny pig with me. She is a 2 year old non-breeding Skinny (hairless) pig. She is very friendly, loves to run around outside of her cage and loves to have her cheeks massaged. I have a 2x3 C&C cage for her and a house and food + hay. If you know of someone who would take good care of her, please email me at emily_e6@excite.com. She is in Acton, ON right now and I am in Brampton, ON. I can drop her off pretty much anywhere within an hour of the GTA. Thanks for your help. Emily

Re: Female Skinny needs a home Oh my this is distressing. It saddens me when someone feels that they must give up their companion. Emily, isn't there any way that you can keep your little companion? Any at all? I won't try to lay a guilt trip on you, I am sure this is hard on you already. If there's the chance that no one here will be able to adopt I would suggest that you get ahold of your nearest Cavy Rescue for help, the sooner the better. People who work in rescues are very kind and considerate and will try to help you and the piggy with this situation. I hope this is of some help to you.

Re: Female Skinny needs a home If there was a way to get her down to Louisiana I'd take her. I don't really have the room but there is something about this that is making me weak and I'd find the room somehow. Look into good animal transporters...there is a specific animal airline that is supposed to be really good but I can't remember the name. Fly her down to Louisiana to me and this girl will be in a warmer climat where she will never be cold and live out her life in a huge cage with the best food, she will never be bred and she will have plenty of friends and love. Poor little thing.

Re: Female Skinny needs a home Oh my! I'm already wiping tears from my eyes! People like you reaffirms my faith in kindness and consideration to animals. Though we know that alot of work needs to be done. I commend you, VDJ, and I applaud your willingness to help this owner and cavy. Bravo!

Re: Female Skinny needs a home Hope this little girl finds a secure forever home very soon. I've just taken a look at her pic. Silly me, I thought all hairless or almost hairless guinea pigs were "pink" I didn't realise they could be coloured! Barbara
