Rocky has arrived!

So, our new addition, 3 week old Rocky has arrived. Oh, gosh is he cute. And soo tiny! When I get some pictures I will post - he's too scared to torture with the camera at the moment!

Yes, Rocky came from Amy, we got him today. He will probably go in with Cujo and Sebastian, but not yet. He is just so tiny. When he gets a bit bigger I will start introductions and let all the wild humping begin. When I let Cujo meet Isaac and Willie it was one behind-sniffing, head-humping festival, but they got on pretty well.

I really think you are much better doing the introductions immediately. They are MUCH more likely to accept him and have the intro's go well if you introduce him sooner rather than later. Seriously - I would intro them tonight or tomorrow, absolutely.

I have done this twice with three week old babies and it's really no big deal at all. The baby squeaks alot and runs around and in an hour or so it's like they have lived together always. That's what makes intro'ing baby boays so easy, but you definitely need to do it sooner not later!! For instance, when we intro'd Harvey to his new baby friend Gus, who was still a baby but a little older - Gus was very bold and was leaping and "attacking" Harvey and if Harvey had not been so laid back things would have been not very good at all. Luckily Harvey ignored the little twerp and now they are great friends.

I can't imagine him being scared at all, he is such a bold little dude! I do imagine he is terribly lonely, since today is the first time he has ever been alone. Please intro him to his new buddies right away!

Okay, so I introduced Rocky to Cujo and Sebastian and it became a hump-fest. Cujo is sooo big I am afraid that he will literally squish him. Cujo does seem less aggresive than Sebastian, though. If it were just Cujo, I wouldn't be as afraid, but now Sebastian is aggresively attacking Cujo and it is upsetting to say the least. I haven't separated them, but it looks like I may have to (Cujo and Sebastian). I don't know what to do.

I really do think they will settle but do keep an eye on them and see how things go. Give those boys cuddles all around, ok?!

Okay - I enlarged the cage - 2 x 5 - and the 3 boys are together. My husband said that last night Rocky was crying and trying to jump up to be with Cujo and Sebastian, so I figured I'd grit my teeth and go for it. Rocky is so small and fast he just keeps running around the cage and the big boys just follow - rarely catching him. I am nervous, but they seem okay and Rocky happy so I'll just keep my eyes on them and pray!
